Over 60s Div1 V NSW

Scores : SA 164 off 44 overs. NSW had a revised DL target of 159 off 40 overs. They passed our score 2 wickets down with 3.3 overs to spare.

SA lost the toss and batted first on a very good pitch and ground. Losing a wicket in the first over set our positive batting plans back early. NSW maintained tight bowling and good fielding for the majority of the innings. A 52 run last wicket partnership between Darren Cheek and Tim Pellen gave our score some respectability. Cheek 43 off 46 balls, Pellen 33no off 24, Judd 33 off 36).

In our bowling, 8 bowlers were used with David Wenham and Mark Trafford-Walker taking one wicket each. Pellen, David Crocker, Mike Reilly and David Smith bowled well at times. Kim Woods behind the stumps had some good moments too.
