Captain Triumphant returns with the Ashes

Australian Grey Ashes (O60) captain Peter Judd returned to a regular Tuesday morning SAVCA training session at Gillespie centre to share the celebration of having retained the Ashes on the recently completed Grey Ashes tour of the UK. Juddy humbly thanked all present for being a part of the training sessions which he said were an important part of his own preparation for the UK tour.

Juddy lead the Australians to retaining the Ashes in extroadinary circumstances. The series was even at two wins each coming into the decider. The game turned out to be a last ball thriller. Australia scored two runs off the last ball to tie the game and thus retain the coveted urn.

Congratulations to Juddy on this outstanding personal achievement, and for his humble encouragement to everyone to continue to get out and enjoy the game they love in whatever way they can.
